Students Graduate From Brick Police Camp

More than three dozen children received their certificates marking their participation in the 2015 Brick Police Camp in ceremonies at the Brick Township Civic Plaza on Tuesday evening.

The camp participants experienced a variety of activities, from time at the township’s Fire Training Center seeing what firefighters experience during training to a visit to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, where they participated in an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course and visited the Army National Guard Black Hawk Aviation Unit and the Historical Airship Museum.

The campers even engaged in a competition against the Point Pleasant Boro Police Department’s Youth Police Camp, running an obstacle course and competing in other physically related activities.
