STEMbotics combines STEM enriched coding with state of the art software and equipment to build and program robotic models.
- Classes are offered 8/7-9/1 | 9:30am-12:00pm | 1st -8th grade students
- Each lesson is taught by a STEMbotics’s instructor. The curriculum is designed to inspire and teach.
- Using pictures, movies and animations instructors will spark energetic discussion about the working principles and inspiration behind the robot design.
- Each student will be paired with a teammate and together they will complete each session's project.
- Each session will be unique by introducing new themed concepts including CITYbotics, ANIMALbotics, SPACEbotics and
- CITYbotics (1st grade to 8th grade students) Teaches young engineers how new technologies and robots can improve life in a modern city. We build, program, and explore robots found in a metropolitan city.
- ANIMALbotics (1st grade to 8th grade students) Introduces the work of the most ingenious engineer of all time – Mother Nature! We build, program, and explore clever robot models of different animals.
- SPACEbotics (1st grade to 8th grade students) Is a unique lesson plan that takes us into outer space. Constructing and then programming futuristic robot models is a great introduction to physics and astronomy.
- ARCADEbotics (3rd grade to 8th grade students) Provides an introduction to programming and game development. Students will learn how to program their own computer games such as Pong and Frogger to ultimate video-game blockbusters such as Snake or Tetris.
- Each team will be able to work at their individual pace with additional challenging exercises added.
