SummerFest Car Show, Concerts By The Bay On Tap In Brick
The live concert series begins Wednesday with a Brick Township-based performer, and the popular car show is set for Thursday.

BRICK, NJ — Live music continues to be on the summer menu in Brick, as the township's Concerts by the Bay series kicks off Wednesday night.
The series features a number of Jersey-based musical groups performing favorite music from the 1950s through the 1990s, all with their own styles.
The free concerts alternate between Bayside Park on Route 35 South and Traders Cove on Mantoloking Road. Bring your own chairs or blankets and bug spray is recommended.

In addition, the SummerFest Car Show is back, as vehicles from all eras will take over Windward Beach Park for the night on Thursday. The car show begins at 5 p.m. Check out the photos from 2019 to see what it's like.

Wednesday's Concert by the Bay features NGXB and The Basso Brothers and begins at 6 p.m. at Bayside Park. NGXB is a Brick Township-raised pianist who performs a range of music and has won competitions. (Read more about him in this 2018 profile: Brick Pianist Wins PBS's Celebration of Music Competition.)
The Basso Brothers are the ultimate acoustic classic rock duo and will have you jamming out to classic rock favorites.
The rest of the series includes:
- Aug. 11, Alotta Colada at 7 p.m. at Traders Cove. It's forever summer in the islands when this group takes the stage to perform everything from Jimmy Buffett to Bob Marley.
- Aug. 18, Juke Box Legends at 7 p.m. at Bayside Park. Enjoy memories of the 1950s through the '70s with this show.
- Aug. 25, Funktion Band at 7 p.m. at Traders Cove. Get funky with disco, jazz, classic rock, country and other favorites.
