Suspect ID Sought In Purse Theft At Walmart: Police
The purse was stolen in Brick, and the victim's credit cards were used at the Target in Toms River, police said.
BRICK, NJ -- Brick Township police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman who they say stole a purse from a shopper’s cart at Walmart.
Sgt. Neal Pedersen said the theft happened on Jan. 31 at 12:40 p.m. at the Walmart at 1872 Route 88 in Brick. The suspect then used credit cards that were in the stolen purse to charge $600 worth of merchandise at the Target on Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
The surveillance photo distributed by Brick police is from the Target in Toms River; the suspect is shown exiting the store at 1:17 p.m., Pedersen said.
