Suspect Sought In Brick Burglary, Stabbing

Brick Township police say they are investigating a burglary and stabbing that occurred Saturday in the area of Stephen and Burnt Tavern roads.

At 4 p.m., the homeowner stabbed in the leg with an unknown object when he confronted the suspect, police said. The suspect then fled in a dark colored medium sized sport utility vehicle with a NJ partial tag of Y8L-.

The vehicle has white or chrome on the bottom portion of the vehicle. The suspect is described as a white male, late 20s, thin build approximately 5 feet 7 to 9 inches tall.
