Target In Brick Reopens After Sprinkler Head Fails
The store was closed around 6 p.m. Friday but reopened on Saturday, a company official said.

BRICK, NJ — A malfunctioning sprinkler head forced Target in Brick Township to close on Friday night, but the store reopened Saturday morning, a company official said.
A sprinkler head came off, resulting in water on the sales floor, said Brian Harper-Tibaldo, a Target spokesman.
He didn't have information on what caused the sprinkler head to come off.

"We closed the store a few hours early on Friday in order to address the issue, but we opened on time Saturday morning, and have had no issues since then," Harper-Tibaldo said.
A Patch reader who goes by the username Panch said: "We were inside in the toy section when the alarms went off. Employees ran around telling everyone to leave. Only thing I noticed was an oily/burning plastic smell near the front of the store on our way out. But no smoke or anything."
