Man Charged With DUI In Hooper Avenue Crash In Brick
The single-vehicle crash on Hooper Avenue took out a utility pole, police said.

BRICK, NJ — A Toms River man has been charged with driving under the influence after hitting a utility pole on Hooper Avenue on Saturday night, Brick Township police said Tuesday.
Joseph MacInnes, 43, was arrested following the crash that happened about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
His was the only vehicle involved in the crash, police said.

The crash damaged the pole and crews from Jersey Central Power & Light remained on the scene Tuesday repairing the pole and diverting traffic, police said.
