Toms River Road Paving Projects For May 1
Breaking: These roads wil have traffic disruptions this week while the work is completed.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Milling and paving projects on Ocean County-owned roads in Toms River are scheduled to continue this week.
The roadwork is scheduled to occur during the evening and overnight hours. If you will be out and about, here's where you should expect to find detours. Some of these projects are beginning Monday evening; others are continuations of projects begun last week.
The work, under the direction of the Ocean County roads department, will result in lane and shoulder closures, officials said.

CHURCH ROAD, Route 9 to North Bay Avenue: Milling and paving will result in lane and shoulder closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
RIDGEWAY ROAD, Whitesville Road to Commonwealth Boulevard: Milling and paving will result in lane and shoulder closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

CALDWELL LANE, East Water Street to Washington Street: Milling and paving will result in lane and shoulder closures with alternating traffic. Times were not specified.
EAST WATER STREET, Hooper Avenue to Dock Street: Milling and paving will result in lane and shoulder closures with alternating traffic.
