Touch Trucks, Meet First Responders At National Night Out In Brick

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 1, an evening for the community to meet members of the police department and come together.

The free event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Windward Beach Park and includes the graduation of the police camp at 7 p.m.

There will be a K-9 demonstration and see first responders' equipment. There will be EMS, fire, and vendors of various kinds, and rides for the kids.

The Department of Public Works will have its Touch-A-Truck activities, where children can explore their equipment.

National Night Out, which started in 1984, is the biggest community event that gives police the opportunity to interact with the communities they serve.
