Traders Cove Concert Series Set For 2022

BRICK, NJ — The SummerFest concerts may be over but Brick Township residents can take in more free live music at the Traders Cove Concert Series that begins Wednesday.

The concerts, which are free, begin at 7 p.m. at Traders Cove on Mantoloking Road each Wednesday in August.

This Wednesday kicks off the series with Jukebox Legends, who perform hits from the 1950s, '60s and '70s.

On Aug. 10, Funktion Band covers everything from classic ballads to Motown to more current funk and pop.

On Aug. 17, longtime favorite Basso Brothers, the ultimate acoustic classic rock duo who will have you jamming out to classic rock favorites. They are joined by Patsy Palma.

Aug. 24 is the final concert in the series and is scheduled to feature the Motown Revue that will have you singing along to everything from Tina Turner's "Proud Mary" to "All Night Long" by Lionel Richie.

Bring chairs or blankets and bring your coolers — alcohol is not permitted.

The township is offering shuttle service for senior citizen residents on a first-come, first-served basis. Any eligible resident wishing to schedule a ride to the Traders Cove Concert Series should call Senior Services at 732-920-8686.

In case of rain, the rain date is the day after the scheduled concert.
