TRAFFIC ALERT: Delays On Beaverson Blvd. In Brick
Breaking: A utility pole is being replaced after a crash, police said.
BRICK,NJ -- Brick Township police are warning motorists to expect detours on Beaverson Boulevard to continue Tuesday morning as repairs continue after a motor vehicle crash Monday night brought down a utility pole.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said via Nixle alert Monday night that the crash brought down a utility pole and knocked out power in the area. Jersey Central Power & Light's website said the outage affected between 500 and 1,5000 homes. Power was expected to be restored about 1:30 a.m., the utility company site said.
