The accident tied up traffic at the intersection with Church Road in the Silverton section for a couple of hours.

TOMS RIVER, NJ -- A Brick Township woman struck the concrete divider and flipped her car at the intersection of Hooper Avenue and Church Road Wednesday afternoon, tying up traffic during rush hour.
Toms River Police spokesman Ralph Stocco said the car, driven by Rosanne Sgro of Brick, hit the traffic signal and the cement highway divider and wound up on its roof.
Traffic was backed up for several miles in all directions and caused delays through rush hour.

Sgro was southbound on Hooper Avenue in a 2002 Toyota when she struck the cement divider and traffic signal support post and the car rolled over. Stocco said she told police she does not know why she lost control of the vehicle.
“We are asking anyone who may have seen the crash to contact us,“ Stocco said. Traffic Safety Officer Ken Thomas is conducting the investigation and can be reached at 732-349-0150 extension 1314.
