Traffic Alert: Avoid Mandalay Road Due To Crash, Brick Police Say

BRICK, NJ — Brick motorists are urged to avoid the area of Mandalay Road and Pilot Drive as cleanup continues from a motor vehicle crash, police said.

The crash forced the road to be closed until at least midnight, police said in a Nixle alert that was issued about 8 p.m. Friday.

The crash brought down live power lines, police said.

JCP&L and Verizon crews are on scene, police said.

"Residents may lose power during the repair. Officers are on scene and are alternating traffic when it is safe to do so," police said.
