TRAFFIC ALERT: County Paving Project Impacts Drum Point Road

BRICK, NJ -- (Updated, 10:40 a.m.) Work on the eastbound lane of Drum Point Road has been completed, Brick Township police said via Nixle alert, and now the westbound lane of the road is closed.

(PREVIOUSLY) The eastbound lane of Drum Point Road is closed between Brick Boulevard and Old Hooper Avenue, Brick Township police said Friday morning.

The closure is due to an Ocean County roads paving project, police said via Nixle alert shortly before 10 a.m.

The westbound lane of Drum Point Road is open, the alert said.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible and follow posted detours.
