TRAFFIC ALERT: Mantoloking Parade Saturday Will Partly Close Route 35

If you are planning to go to Brick’s beaches or to any of the towns south of Mantoloking on Saturday, you will want to plan your travel times carefully, Brick Township police said.

Route 35 southbound in Mantoloking will be closed from noon until 12:30 p.m. for the borough’s Fourth of July parade. The closure will cause significant traffic delays, police said, and motorists should expect residual delays as well.

If you are planning to travel to the barrier island on Saturday, you may want to take an alternate route to avoid delays.
