UPDATE: Tractor-Trailer Cleared From Brick Boulevard, Police Say

BRICK, NJ — (Update 12:45 p.m.) Brick Township police say a tractor-trailer that had been blocking the southbound lanes of Brick Boulevard has been cleared.

Motorists were urged to avoid Brick Boulevard southbound late Tuesday morning, but an update via Nixle said the truck had been cleared.

The Nixle alert issued about 11:45 a.m. said the tractor-trailer was in the area of Essex Drive, which is just north of the Beaverson Boulevard intersection.

It was not immediately known how the truck became stuck.
