Traffic Signals Restored, Power Slowly Returning: Brick Police
As Jersey Central Power & Light crews continue to work to restore power, traffic issues are being resolved.
BRICK, NJ — Power is slowly being restored throughout Brick Township, including to traffic signals that were out for several hours, police said.
Traffic lights on Route 70 were operating at intersections with Morris Avenue, Burnt Tavern Road, and Herbertsville Road, and at the intersection of Herbertsville Road and Maple Avenue.
About 2,400 homes and businesses remained without electricity as of 4:30 p.m., according to Jersey Central Power & Light.
