TRAVEL ALERT: Dense Fog Advisory In Effect For Morning Commute

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for the morning commute.

The advisory was issued late Wednesday night and is in effect until 10 a.m. for areas throughout central New Jersey, southern New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania, the service’s Mount Holly office said.

A satellite image captured overnight by the weather service shows areas of dense fog -- high probability of dense fog and low clouds are red.

The fog will still be dense in spots during the morning commute so give yourself extra time if traveling, forecasters said.
