Verizon Cell Tower Proposal Before Brick Zoners
Verizon is seeking approval to add a cell tower that will be at the site of the Pioneer Hose Company fire substation on Route 35.
BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Board of Adjustment is scheduled to hear testimony on a proposed cell phone tower at the Pioneer Hose Company substation on Wednesday.
The application is for a 90-foot tower in a 20-foot by 29-foot enclosure on the fire company property at 321 Route 35 in Brick.
Verizon says the addition of the cell tower will fill a gap in coverage in the area. Maps included show towers on Mantoloking Road and in the Normandy Beach section of the peninsula, along with the proposed tower. Information on the application is on the township's website.
