Volume Slowing Northbound Parkway Traffic: Sheriff

If you're planning to head north on the Garden State Parkway Sunday evening, give yourself extra time and prepare to be patient.

The Ocean County Sheriff's office is urging motorists to allow more time due to heavy traffic from the area of Exit 74 (Berkeley Township) all the way through Wall Township.

According to 511nj.com, the state Department of Transportation website, delays extend north through the Asbury Park toll area and are due to volume. There are reports of three fender benders in the stretch from exits 105 to 116, the website said.
