Wall Woman Charged After She Runs Down Juvenile: Prosecutor
Vicky L, Smith, 52, is charged with attempted murder after she hit the juvenile with her vehicle, the prosecutor's office said.

WALL, NJ — A Wall Township woman has been charged with attempted murder after she hit a juvenile with her vehicle Monday evening following a dispute between her family and the juvenile, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said Tuesday.
Vicky L. Smith, 52, was charged with first-degree attempted murder, Gramiccioni said, and weapsons charges which stemmed from using the car to hit the juvenile, whose age was not released.
The juvenile was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and later released. he said.

Smith allegedly hit the juvenile with her vehicle in the area of Central and First avenues shortly after 7:30 p.m., following the earlier dispute. The nature of the dispute was not released.
Smith is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institute, Freehold Township, awaiting a detention hearing, according to online records.
