Brick police released the surveillance video and additional photos of the suspect Monday.

Brick Township police on Monday released more photos and video from a surveillance camera at the home where a man was stabbed during a burglary on Saturday.

The stabbing occurred about 4 p.m. on Saturday, when a man broke into a home in the area of Stephen and Burnt Tavern roads, Sgt. Neal Pedersen of the Brick Township Police Department said.

The homeowner told police he was stabbed in the leg with an unknown object when he confronted the suspect, who is described as a white male in his late 20s, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 with a thin build. The man then fled in a dark colored, medium-sized sport utility vehicle with a partial New Jersey license plate of Y8L, Pedersen said. The vehicle has white or chrome on the bottom portion of the vehicle.
