Water Main Break Forces Early Dismissal At 2 Brick Schools

BRICK, NJ — A water main break near the Veterans Memorial schools complex is forcing the district to dismiss classes in those two schools early on Wednesday, the district said in a news release.

Veterans Memorial Middle School will be dismissed at noon, and Veterans Memorial Elementary School will be dismissed at 1 p.m., district officials said. Students will be sent home early on their regular buses, officials said.

All afternoon activities at the two schools have been canceled, officials said.

The water main break is in the parking lot of the two schools, officials said.
