WEATHER ALERT: Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Ocean County
The storms are expected to bring heavy rain and damaging winds between now and 6:30 p.m.
A line of storms moving east across the state has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a severe thunderstorm warning for Ocean County.
Doppler radar indicated the storm is capable of winds gusting to 60 mph and is moving east at abot 25 mph.
The storm also is producing significant lightning, the weather service said and very heavy rain.
