On Monday, it’s Pretzel Day. Learn about the history of the twisty, sometimes doughy, sometimes crunchy treat and try different types. The snacking begins at 4:30 p.m. and is open to those age 6 or older.

On Wednesday, it’s all hands on the paper for Art Escape, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Age-appropriate art projects are planned for those from toddlers to tweens. Dress to get messy!

On Friday, the Laurelton Art Society will hold a workshop as part of its Annual Spring Exhibit. Painting a Landscape, in watercolor, led by Rose Marie Licata, will run from 2-4 p.m. She will demonstrate her method of highlighting trees using masking tape. Simply bring in your watercolor supplies, tape, and scissors, and work along with her. The workshop is free but participation is limited to 20 so you must sign up. Call Joanne at 732-477-1805.

On Saturday, the film “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” starring Helen Mirren, Om Puri and Manish Dayal will be screened beginning at 1:30 p.m. Adapted from Richard C. Morais’ 2010 novel, the film tells the story of quarreling adjacent restaurants operated by two families with distinctly different cultural backgrounds.
