Monday Oct 17, 2016

Reiki 1 for Caregivers

5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Basic introductory level one class specifically geared for family or professional caregivers. Reiki is a gentle touch modality that induces a sense of relaxation and well-being. Excellent self care tool or easy to learn method to comfort others. This course is taught in one full-day or two half-day sessions with time built-in for practice. After completion of the course, participants are encouraged to attend weekly Reiki shares to improve their skills, answer questions, and deepen their practice.

This is a two day class.

Geared for those individuals who seek to have a better understanding of how the world of Spirit blends with our world in the here and now. Those dealing with grief, or suffering from the loss of a loved one, can also benefit from these gatherings. First and foremost we are dedicated to removing all the myths and fears connected with the Spirit World.

Each gathering will begin with a Meditation with focus on our Chakras, our energy center. You will also have the opportunity to participate in exercises which will help you have a better understanding of how Spirit is connecting with you. When time allows, all will be invited to participate in a Spirit Circle, bringing in messages from loved ones who now reside on the other side.

CRYSTAL STONE COMBINATIONS & SPACE GRIDDING

This class will show you how to select, organize and arrange crystals in order to bring positive energy, harmony, protection and prosperity into your environment.
You will learn how to:
• Select, cleanse and Program crystals for your home or office
• Combine crystals in mandala forms for your specific intentions
• Create healing grids for your Altar, Healing room or Meditation practice
• Protective crystals for your car and travel
• Do’s and Don’ts for the bedroom
• Special Crystal combinations will be made by your request!

Grief Recovery Method

Incomplete recovery from the losses in our lives can have a cumulative negative effect on our capacity for happiness. Whether loss is from death, divorce, natural disaster, loss of career, loss of hopes & dreams, death of a pet, or the 40+ other reasons for grief, we can spend an inordinate amount of time and energy covering up the painful feelings associated with loss.The Grief Recovery Method helps create a new level of awareness, leading to discovery then recovery from loss and grief. We don’t lack courage or willingness; as grievers, we lack correct information about what actions to take and a safe environment in which to take them.
The Center for Conscious Caregiving is that safe space. Carol Strelic, Reiki Master Teacher & Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, will guide you through the correct action choices that help you move beyond the pain of loss.
Carol has been trained by the Grief Recovery Institute (www.griefrecoverymethod.com). She is passionate about ‘Bringing Loss into the Light’.

SOUL TO SOUL: An Evening of Spiritual Communication

During this two hour Gallery Event, Gloria will explain the world of Spirit to all present through education, answering questions, laughter and tears, which will touch and heal hearts. Throughout the event Gloria will bring through messages for many present from their loved ones in Spirit.
Gloria will do her best to bring as many messages as time allows, however, not everyone is guaranteed a message.
