Win Cash, Help Fund Scholarships For Brick Students

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Chamber of Commerce is hoping you will help a student's scholarship dreams come true by participating in the annual Dream Dollars Raffle.

The raffle, run by the chamber's Educational Foundation, benefits the annual scholarship program.

Tickets are $100 each, and just 200 will be sold. The grand prize is $10,000, based on the sale of all 200 tickets, the chamber said.

The Educational Foundation has been awarding scholarships for continuing education for more than 25 years and to date has exceeded $200,000 in awards to Brick Township residents who are pursuing their dreams, chamber officials said.

Lincoln O’Hare, president of the chamber's Educational Foundation, said “shares” of a ticket may be purchased as well as the full raffle ticket.

"We’ve had several winners in past years who were groups of friends or co-workers,” he said.

The drawing for the winner will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20 at a special networking event at the River Rock Restaurant on Route 70 in Brick. The raffle has been a sellout in past years and the organizers urge those interested to call the Chamber of Commerce at 732-477-4949 to purchase a ticket.
