Winning Jersey Cash 5 Ticket Worth Nearly $250K Sold In Brick
The ticket, sold at Cigars & More, won the Aug. 31 drawing and is worth nearly $248,000

Some lucky Ocean County resident is holding a Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth nearly a quarter of a million dollars.
Carole Hedinger, executive director of the New Jersey Lottery, said the Sunday, Aug. 31 drawing had one ticket that matched all five winning numbers: 03, 06, 10, 27 and 29.
The ticket, which won the $247,922 jackpot, was purchased at Cigars & More, 2140 Route 88, Brick.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Cigars & More,” Hedinger said. The retailer receives a bonus check for $2,000.
Hedinger said noted that 4,059 other players won $83,651 in cash prizes in the Sunday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 155 players won cash prizes of $313 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 3,904 players won $9 each.
