BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are seeking the public's help in identifying a vehicle and driver from a hit-and-run crash in early October.

On Oct. 8, a woman was hit and suffered facial injuries as she was getting into her vehicle about 8:45 p.m. Her vehicle was parked next to the road on West Princeton Avenue, Brick Sgt. Jim Kelly said.

The vehicle that hit her was described as a dark-colored midsized pickup truck, possibly a Ford F150 crew cab, Kelly said. Surveillance video from a building on the corner of Route 88 and Hoffman Street shows a dark-colored pick-up truck leaving the area and heading west on Route 88 toward Lakewood shortly after the crash. The vehicle's side mirrors are equipped with turn lamps, and there may be damage to the passenger side mirror, Kelly said.
