Woman Pinned Under Truck At Brick Plaza, Injured

A 68-year-old Brick woman was pinned under a truck in an accident that took place at Brick Plaza on Sunday, police said.

The pedestrian, Barbara Sole, was walking in the travel lane in front of a vehicle as it began to pull out of a parking space, police said.

Sole was knocked to the ground and was pinned under the truck driven by Joseph Fedor, 24, of Garfield, police said.

Pioneer Hose, Breton Woods and Laurelton Fire companies responded to extricate Sole from under the vehicle. Brick Police First Aid and MONOC Paramedics also responded to treat Sole, police said.

She was subsequently transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment.
