BRIDGEWATER, NJ — More than 1,000 pets were adopted from the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter in 2019.

"Thanks to your generosity and support we reached a milestone!" said Rose Digilio with SRAS. "Each and every one of you made this happen. Every share, each dollar donated helped an animal find a new best friend."

For 2020 the shelter is hoping to break its record of 1,023 adoptions and need help to accomplish this. For those interested in donating to the shelter visit www.srasnj.org/donate.

Somerset Regional Animal Shelter at 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater is open daily from noon to 4 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
