1 Park Reopens, 2 Others Remain Closed Due To Flooding In Somerset County

Flooding from Sunday's storms have impacted parks in the area.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Flooding from Sunday's storms closed three Somerset County parks on Monday.

Duke Island Park, North Branch Park (Flying Field & Brook Grove), and Raritan & South Branch River Greenway Trails were closed until further notice.

The Somerset County Parks Commission announced that Duke Island Park off Old York Road is reopening on July 10 as of 3 p.m. However, the playground will remain closed until further notice.
