115 New Teachers, Staff Join Bridgewater-Raritan School District For 2023-24
There are two weeks before the 2023-24 school year is set to kick off in Bridgewater-Raritan.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — There are two weeks before the 2023-24 school year is set to kick off in Bridgewater-Raritan. This new school year students will see an additional 115 new teachers and staff members in the regional district.
At the Tuesday night Board of Education meeting, a resolution to approve a personnel addendum was passed by Board members.
The 25-page addendum includes the addition of 45 new teachers and 70 new staff members to the district.

"I am really excited for the students of the district. We have great people who are returning from last year and we have some really excellent new teachers coming from all different places that are going to be in the district," said Assistant Superintendent for Personnel, Dr. Dan Fonder, at the meeting.
Fonder noted the new teachers and staff members come with "all different levels of experience with all a great knowledge and energy and an ability to impact students lives in a positive way."

The first day of school for students in the Bridgewater and Raritan school district is Sept. 6.
