133 Bridgewater Wholesalers Employees Getting Laid Off

The DSJ Holding, Inc. (Bridgewater Wholesalers, Inc.​) employees will be laid off by next month following energy issues with Japan.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A total of 133 employees of the DSJ Holding, Inc. (Bridgewater Wholesalers, Inc.) will be laid off by the end of next month following energy issues with Japan.

The company's website says it is currently seeking to resolve Japan's energy issues through efforts related to planning, development, sales, management and operations in the natural energy sector.

More than 1,500 layoffs are planned at Bridgewater Wholesalers and eight other businesses, including more than 500 after Conagra Brands closes its Parsippany and Cherry Hill offices.

More than 120 people at the Allied Beverage Co., New Jersey's largest wine-and-spirits distributor, will also be laid off by March 20.
