19 Pets Find 'Furever' Homes At Somerset Regional Animal Shelter
The dogs and cats were adopted as part of the "Clear the Shelters" national adoption event.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A total of 19 pets found a loving "furever" home at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter(SRAS) this past weekend during the "Clear the Shelters" national adoption event.
SRAS offered free adoptions for all animals over 6 months and kittens under 6 months were $50 on Saturday and Sunday. The shelter extended the event into Sunday with 11 adoptions on Saturday and eight adoptions on Sunday.
The shelter still has one dog looking for a home and is still overflowing with cats and kittens with more coming in each day, according to shelter manager, Brian Bradshaw.

"Holly, 3 year old Domestic Long Hair, friendly, would do well with another laid back cat."

"Eggnog is a beautiful senior female Orange Tabby. Wouldn't mind being an only cat, but should be able to get along with another laid back cat with proper introductions. Would do best with a cat savvy person. She enjoys human affection, wet food and toys. "
"Paris and London, just two of many kittens available. Sweet, affectionate and friendly."
