19-Year-Old Hospitalized In Hit-And-Run In Bound Brook
The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the hit-and-run crash on Saturday night where the driver remains at large.
BOUND BROOK, NJ — Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run crash that sent a 19-year-old to the hospital on Saturday night in Bound Brook, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.
On Saturday at about 10:35 p.m., Bound Brook Police found a 19-year-old Bound Brook man suffering from injuries after he was hit by a car in the 600 block area of West Union Avenue near the Middlebrook Center, Robertson said.
The teen was crossing West Union Avenue from the south side to the north side when he was struck by a car driving east in the inner lane, Robertson said.

The driver fled the scene after hitting the teen, Robertson said.
The teen was taken to an area trauma center where he is listed in stable condition, Robertson said.

Investigators from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) along with Bound Brook Police detectives are investigating.
