2 Assistant Principals, Assistant Business Admin Appointed In Bridgewater-Raritan

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two assistant principals were assigned new positions while an assistant business administrator was appointed by the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District’s Board of Education.
On Oct. 30, at the Wade Administration Building, Brian Smith and Vincent Del Priore, each presently a Bridgewater-Raritan High School Assistant Principal, received new appointments.
Smith will move on to the Eisenhower Intermediate School where he will serve as the Assistant Principal. He will replace Laura Zamrok, who will retire at the end of 2023.

Del Priore will assume Smith’s vacant position as a 12-month Assistant Principal. He had been a 10-month employee.
Patricia Rodgers was appointed as the school district’s new Assistant Business Administrator. Rodgers, who is presently the Business Administrator for the Watchung Borough School District, will begin at the start of the 2024 year when she will replace Kevin Lomski, who resigned.

Smith began his career in Bridgewater-Raritan in 2007 and has served as Special Education Teacher and then Special Education Supervisor before he became an Assistant Principal. He also coached for the high school’s football and track and field teams.
"I'm excited for the opportunity to join the tight-knit and supportive Eisenhower School community," Smith said. "I’m looking forward to working with students at the intermediate level, during their formative years, as it will offer a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on their lives, not only academically but also in their personal development."
He continued to share his desire to work with Dr. Laura Bassett, the Eisenhower Principal, and the school’s officials and faculty.
"The staff at Eisenhower has a long-standing reputation for inspiring, guiding, and supporting all students as they navigate through a crucial stage of their educational journey and I can’t wait to join the team," he said.
Del Priore started in Bridgewater-Raritan as a 10-month Assistant Principal in January 2021 after he worked as a Social Studies Teacher and Supervisor of Alternative Education at North Plainfield High School.
Since joining the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District, Del Priore has served as the Chair of the 504 Committee, the Chair of the Attendance Appeals Committee, and developed programs that support students and promote equity at the high school.
"I am excited to continue developing programs that support student achievement as I transition into the role of 12-month Assistant Principal at the high school," said Del Priore, who will continue to assist Principal Dan Hemberger at the high school.
Rodgers holds an MBA in Finance, a New Jersey School Business Administrators Certification and a New Jersey Transportation Supervisors Certification and has 14 years of experience working in public schools.
She also revealed her other professional positions.
"I have 12 years of corporate finance and accounting experience working for a Fortune 500 company. My public school experience includes School Business Administrator, Assistant School Business Administrator, Bus Driver, Instructional Paraprofessional and Substitute Teacher," she said.
Rodgers is thrilled to come on board at Bridgewater-Raritan.
"I am very excited to begin my journey at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District as the Assistant Business Administrator and be part of such an amazing team," said Rodgers.
