Halloween Hit-And-Run Video Shows Car Escaping After Injuring Child, Woman: Cops

An adult and child were hospitalized in North Plainfield following the hit-and-run, according to police.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Police have released a video showing a vehicle wanted in the hit-and-run of a young child and an adult on Halloween speeding away from the scene in North Plainfield. (See video below)

The hit-and-run was reported on Monday at 6:22 p.m. on Moutain Avenue and Jeffries Place where North Plainfield Police Officers found a 21-year-old woman and a seven-year-old boy with injuries from being hit by a car, said North Plainfield Police Captain Alan McKay.

Both had serious yet non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area trauma center, said McKay.
