2 More Coronavirus Deaths Reported In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two more new coronavirus-related deaths were reported Tuesday in Bridgewater by Township officials. This brings the death total to nine in the township.

The township also reported 12 new COVID-19 positive cases, bringing the total to 110 as of Tuesday.

Somerset County has a total of 1,033 positive cases and 40 deaths as of Tuesday.

Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Tuesday that state and county parks will close as he once again said New Jersey had its deadliest day in the coronavirus outbreak: 3,361 new cases and 232 more deaths. Read More: Gov. Murphy Closes Parks On Coronavirus Outbreak's Deadliest Day

The total number of cases has risen to 44,416, and 1,232 people have died. The state did not provide a county-by-county breakdown of cases on Tuesday, but Patch has kept track of the overall numbers. Read more: NJ Coronavirus Updates: Here's What You Need To Know
