2 Women Hit By Car While In Crosswalk Near Bridgewater Commons
The two women had just left The Village at the Bridgewater Commons Mall and were walking in a marked crosswalk when they were hit: Police.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two women were hit by a car while walking in a crosswalk outside of The Village at the Bridgewater Commons Mall on Thursday afternoon, police said.
At around 12:20 p.m. a driver, who was not identified, was driving west on Crossing Boulevard through a green traffic light and tried to turn left onto Commons Way when they hit the two pedestrians, Bridgewater Police Sgt. Kevin Lamey said.
The two women had just left The Village and were walking in a marked crosswalk to cross Commons Way when they were hit, Lamey said.

One pedestrian had a cut to her head and the other complained of pain in her left hip, leg and back, Lamey said.
The driver was issued a summons for failing to yield to the pedestrians in the crosswalk.
