3 Bridgewater Locals Arrested For Drugs In Bedminster
Bedminster Police also made arrests for driving under the influence and outstanding warrants.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Three Bridgewater locals were arrested for drug possession in Bedminster, according to the police blotter.
On Sept. 26 at about 11:12 p.m., Bedminster Police observed a red Toyota Corolla traveling on Route 202/206 southbound with an obstructed front windshield due to tint.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 southbound in the area of mile marker 21.8. Subsequent to the investigation, Michael Cerrito, 21, of Bridgewater; Clevontae Ballard, 20, of Somerville; Gabriel Ochoa, 19, of Somerville; Cristian Ortiz-Osorio, 22, of Bridgewater; and Caleb Jorgensen, 22, of Bridgewater were arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ochoa was also arrested on a warrant out of Hillsborough for $550, and posted bail. The driver, Ortiz-Osorio was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of windshield for vision and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS).

On Sept. 24 at about 7:18 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department and took over custody of Vanessa Riccio. Riccio, 41, of Manalapan was arrested on a Bedminster Township warrant for $750. She was lodged in Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.
On Sept. 26 at about 8:46 a.m.: Bedminster Police spoke to the manager at Steck’s Deli (75 Washington
Valley Road) in reference to a theft. The manager advised that on Sept. 22 at approximately 3 a.m. eight dozen rolls that had been delivered to the door were stolen. The manager also advised that on several other occasions in the past that someone has taken a roll or two from the bag, but has never taken the eight dozen before.
On Sept. 27 at about 10:30 a.m.: Bedminster Police responded to a Quantum Floats (327 Route 202/206) for a theft report. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the contractor who advised that sometime between Sept. 20 and Sept. 27, six pallets of Belgium block (estimated value $3,000) and six rolls of insulation (estimated value $400) were stolen from the driveway.
On Sept. 29 at midnight: Bedminster Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on a grey Mercedes CLA250 on Route 206 in Chester Township. Prior to the stop, the officer observed the vehicle traveling northbound on Route 206 and fail to maintain a lane on numerous occasions. Subsequent to the motor vehicle stop, James Brehove, 69, of Succasunna was arrested for driving under the influence, and issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to submit to a chemical test, unsafe lane change, and careless driving.
On Sept. 29 at about 9:06 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a silver Honda Civic traveling on I-78 westbound just prior to exit 26 with an obstructed front windshield due to multiple items hanging from the rear view mirror and the officer also observed the rear seat passenger not wearing a seatbelt. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-78 westbound in the area of mile marker 26. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Jason Black, 22, of Pittstown was arrested on a warrant out of Clinton Twp. for $1,000 and issued a summons for failure of adult: rear seat passenger to wear seat belt. Black posted bail and was released. The driver, Mhairi MacMillan, 20, of Annandale was issued a motor vehicle summons for obstruction of windshield for vision.
