Somerset Regional Animal Shelter is offering half price adoptions to try and give these felines a "furever" home.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A total of 32 cats in two weeks were rescued from two different apartments in Bridgewater and Manville by the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.

Earlier this month, 18 adult cats were rescued from an apartment in Bridgewater and then another 10 adult cats and four kittens were rescued from an apartment in Manville, Brian Bradshaw, manager at SRAS told Patch.

Some of the cats had to be treated for minor medical ailments, including ear infections, parasites, and to neuter and spay them, Bradshaw said.

All 32 cats are currently at the shelter in Bridgewater with most ready to be adopted. As a result, Bradshaw said through the end of September, SRAS is offering half price adoptions to try and give these felines a "furever" home.

Additionally, due to the number of cats and costs for medical treatments and to spay/neuter them, Bradshaw says the shelter is in need of monetary donations.
