BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater is reporting 2 new cases on Monday bringing the township's total to 423 confirmed cases and 49 deaths of the coronavirus. Looking at the overall numbers, just under 12 percent of the confirmed cases in Bridgewater have died.
Of those confirmed to have COVID-19, 56.3 percent are women, and 43.7 percent are men. Additionally a total of 118 Bridgewater residents are "self-reported recoveries," according to Bridgewater Township.
"While it is highly likely that the amount of actually recovered persons in Bridgewater is significantly higher than this figure, this number represents the cohort of residents with whom our public health team has recently been able to make contact, and who are confirmed to be reporting their own recovery," the township posted on Monday. "Though our public health officials continue to follow-up with each case over time, they cannot constantly be in contact with every patient in Bridgewater."
