64-Unit Mixed Use Residential Development Could Replace America's Florist In Bound Brook

The Bound Brook Planning Board will hear the application to replace the florist on Union Avenue on Thursday.

BOUND BROOK, NJ — Developers are proposing to demolish the long-standing America's Florist on Union Avenue in Bound Brook and replace it with a 64-unit, three-story mixed-use residential development.

The application proposed by New Horizon Properties LLC was first heard by the Bound Brook Planning Board on Aug. 8, 2024. The continuation of the application is being heard on March 13.

The project is proposing a 75,270 square foot building with the first floor for businesses. The second and third floors will each include 32 units(19 one-bedroom units and 13 two-bedroom units).
