76th Annual Somerset County 4-H Fair Returns In August

The Fair will run from Aug. 7 to 9 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, offering entertainment, food, and family fun for all ages.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The Somerset County 4-H Association's annual 4-H Fair will return in 2024 on Aug. 7 through 9.

The fair will be held daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Aug. 7, 8, and 9 at North Branch Park in Bridgewater. Parking and admission are free.

The Fair provides hundreds of 4-H club members an opportunity to showcase the skills that they have acquired while in 4-H through a variety of exhibits, demonstrations and competitions.

The three-day Fair is the county’s largest event and attracts more than 40,000 visitors. With 15 acres of 4-H activities and exhibits, fairgoers can reconnect with the area’s agricultural past or glimpse the future with demonstrations of robotics and rocketry.

For the younger kids, there is a 4-H Prep/Cloverbud Tent with exhibits and activities for grades K-3.

The fair also offers a food tent featuring a large variety of items with food sales benefitting local nonprofit organizations.
