Before, After CARE Pricing Changes For Bridgewater-Raritan Schools

The new pricing for BR CARES will be in effect for the 2026-27 school year.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Parents can expect to see changes to pricing for the Bridgewater-Raritan CAREs program — the district's before- and after-school care program — for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.

"Overall, there will be a slight decrease for families signing up for both AM and PM care, while others that opt for only one AM or PM care may see an increase in comparison to the current 25-26 rates," Board member Steven Singer at the Feb. 24 Board of Education meeting.

BR CAREs Coordinator Kevin Stianchi told Patch that the decrease for the AM plus PM price at all schools is going down to slightly below the 2023-24 school year prices.

Adamsville, Bradley Gardens, JFK, and Van Holten parents are seeing small price cuts to AM and PM care.

While Crim, Hamilton, and Milltown parents who only need AM care will see a price increase. Parents who only need PM care will see a price decrease.
