Lanes Reopen, Rubbernecking Delays Continue After I-78 East Crash In Bedminster

BEDMINSTER, NJ — All lanes on Interstate 78 East in Bedminster have reopened and rubbernecking delays continue following a crash with injuries on Wednesday.

The crash involving a tractor-trailer was reported just before 3 p.m. on the eastbound side just west of Exit 29 for I-287/US 202/US 206 in Bedminster Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

Minor injuries were reported and two were taken to an area hospital, said New Jersey State Police Philip Curry.

All lanes were closed around 3:15 p.m. but have since reopened. Rubbernecking delays of 10 minutes are being reported as of 4:05 p.m.
