Ambee Coffee Day Party Coming To Downtown Somerville

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Ambee Coffee of Somerville is looking to redefine the weekend hangout with a Day Party on Sunday, July 20, on Division Street.

"It’s a laid-back, community-powered daytime hangout filled with good people, tropical beats, and coffee-fueled fun. Whether you’re showing up with friends or rolling solo, come catch a vibe, meet new people, make some memories, and be part of something fresh," according to Ambee Coffee.

Bridgewater native and Ambee Coffee owner Steven Chiocchi told Patch he felt the Day Party is a great way for his business to get out there, "build community around coffee and work with local musicians."

"I just think it's a way for us to engage with the community. I feel like there's a trend with non-alcoholic parties, and we want to jump on that trend. We think a coffee party is the perfect way to do that," said Chiocchi.

The party will include:

• Outdoor DJ set by award-winning DJ Yoshi
• Unlimited cold brew and refreshers
• Choice of Turkey, Swiss, or Veggie Mozzarella sandwich
• Cooling misters + infused RO water
• Epic raffle prizes
• Captured Moments by Snapped Society will offer a mobile photo booth

There will also be an official Ambee Day Party aftermovie being filmed by Media X.

"We want people to feel refreshed and energized. They dance and just socialize," said Chiocchi. "There will be high-top tables, tents, and misting fans. We will also have some really cool balloon installations. It'll be kind of like a pool party vibe."

The event will be held on Sunday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 37 West Main St. in Somerville.

Tickets are limited. There are two ticket options, one for $10 which includes event and DJ access and a $30 ticket, which includes event and DJ access and food and drinks.
