It will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bridgewater Commons, 400 Commons Way, Bridgewater. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset is the title sponsor.

The event will combine carnival attractions with a hands-on Touch-A-Truck experience.

Families will be able to explore trucks and specialty vehicles, enjoy rides and inflatables, play carnival games and take part in family activities throughout the afternoon.

Admission to rides, inflatables and carnival games is free.

There will also be a live band on the main stage, face painting, crafts, interactive activities, a DJ, food trucks and local food and craft vendors.

An arts and crafts tent will cost $10 per person. Face painting and glitter tattoos will cost $5 per person.

"We are thrilled to bring the community together for a day filled with energy, connection, and family fun," said Paige Silberfein, Chief Operating Officer of the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC. "This event is about more than just having a great time; it plays a vital role in raising funds that allow us to provide meaningful financial support to those who need it most in our community. We couldn’t do it without the generous support of our community sponsors."

Tom Kovacic, Marketing and Business Development Director of Bridgewater Commons, said that the mall is proud to host the event.

"The Spring Carnival and Touch-A-Truck is a wonderful opportunity for the community to enjoy a day of fun while experiencing all that Bridgewater has to offer," Kovacic said.

Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench also highlighted the local partnership behind the event.

"Community events like the Bridgewater Spring Carnival and Touch-A-Truck are a wonderful reflection of what makes Bridgewater such a special place to live, work, and raise a family," Moench said. "We are proud to partner with the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC and Bridgewater Commons to offer families a fun, welcoming, and memorable day in the heart of our community."
