Kangaroo Kids Child Care and Learning Center proudly celebrated its 35th Anniversary this year, marking three and a half decades of providing exceptional early childhood education and nurturing generations of children throughout Somerset County and the surrounding communities. To commemorate this milestone, the celebration was held at Somerset Patriots Baseball Stadium, where Executive Director Kathy Feigley was honored with the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, recognizing Kangaroo Kids' 35 years of leadership and commitment to excellence in early childhood education.

Since opening its doors in 1991, Kangaroo Kids has remained committed to its mission of nurturing young minds, inspiring a love of learning, and preparing children for success in school and in life. Today, the center continues to serve infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarten students, and children enrolled in its highly regarded Kindergarten Prep program.

As a nationally accredited early childhood education center, Kangaroo Kids is recognized for meeting the highest standards of quality, safety, and educational excellence. The center's experienced educators provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to foster intellectual growth, creativity, confidence, social-emotional development, and school readiness.

"For 35 years, we have had the privilege of partnering with families during some of the most important years of a child's development," said Kathy Feigley, Executive Director of Kangaroo Kids. "We are incredibly proud of the thousands of children who began their educational journey with us and have gone on to achieve success in school, college, careers, and their communities."

Kangaroo Kids' educational programs are carefully designed to help children build strong academic foundations while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills needed for the future. The center's Kindergarten and Kindergarten Prep programs are especially recognized for helping children gain the confidence, independence, and academic readiness needed to thrive in elementary school and beyond.

As the center celebrates this milestone anniversary, many former students are now graduating from high school and college—providing a powerful reminder of the lasting impact that quality early childhood education can have on a child's future.

For 35 years, Kangaroo Kids has remained dedicated to innovation, excellence, and creating a warm, family-centered environment where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

"We believe every child deserves the strongest possible start," said Feigley. "Our commitment today is the same as it was in 1991—to provide outstanding early education that prepares children not only for school, but for life."

Families interested in learning more about Kangaroo Kids' programs for infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten, and kindergarten prep are encouraged to contact the center for information or to schedule a tour at 908-231-7800.
